The techs are the best, very polite and friendly, knowledgeable and super effective, in doing what they do to get me back on track with our laptops and printers. SUPPORTrix has always fixed any and all of the problems I have had with my laptops or wireless printer. STEP 10: Repeat steps 3 to 6 from this location so that you have a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\MicrosoftEdge\Recovery\AutoRecover DWORD Value set to 2. STEP 9: Now, navigate to this folder path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft.
STEP 8: Double-click on AutoRecover to edit its properties, then under Value data, change the value to 2, and then click OK. STEP 7: Name the new value as AutoRecover. STEP 6: Right-click again on a blank space on the right pane, then select New, and then choose DWORD (32-bit) Value. STEP 5: Create a key named Recovery under the MicrosoftEdge folder you have just created by repeating steps 3 and 4. NOTE: This process will involve tweaking the Windows registry, so it is strongly recommended that you carefully follow the instructions below and do not mess around with the other folders or entries within the registry. Unfortunately, there is no simple option for you to turn this auto recover feature off, but you can still disable it by tweaking a couple of hidden settings in Windows 10. This can be a frustrating experience especially if you force closed it because you want to get rid of all those opened tabs. This is because Edge restores all tabs by default whenever you re-launch it after a force close. However, when you try to re-launch your browser, all the same tabs will start loading again.
